Every year, Office Space in Town (OSiT) chooses a charitable cause for which to raise funds with the support of all of employees, clients and visitors to our centres. In 2018, we raised a fantastic £13,904.10 together for the McClafferty family to help support them as they adapt to the many challenges of life after husband and father, John McClafferty suffered a severe stroke. We choose causes that have personal resonance for members of our community and this year is no exception.

2019’s appeal will support a number of different charities throughout the year – the first being ‘Good Companions Cuppa Lunch Club’ in Northampton. The Club was originally set up by Karen Smith; a woman wanting to make a difference and whose redundancy forced her to take action and help those around her suffering from the effects of loneliness. We also plan to raise money for our previous chosen charity in 2017, ‘Shelter from the Storm’ in support of people who have recently been evicted to support them in restarting their journey.

Our bigger appeal this year will be supporting Centre 404 at Leigh Road, a caring home for individuals with physical and learning disabilities. The money we raise will help to fund ongoing renovations in the home and improve the residents’ living conditions.

We would like to thank everyone who has donated via OSiT so far and contributed to the fantastic fundraise for the McClafferty family.

Fundraising

Our brilliant OSiT team puts its heart and soul into raising money for our charity appeal, whether you buy a bar of chocolate at reception, drinks and treats from one of the many pop-up events throughout the year or donate to one of our incoming recycling banks you, can be sure it's going to a good cause. We manage this aspect of our fundraising internally but if you would like to donate directly, you can do so on our public gofundme page
