The world of Serviced Offices is in our DNA. Caryl and Harry Fuchs founded the first serviced office building in the UK back in 1979 and today, their son and daughter, Niki and Giles, continue to fly the flag with the OSiT brand.

The OSiT Story begins in 1979, click to find out about our journey so far……….

The Fuchs were pioneers of the concept of serviced offices in the UK, launching City Executive Centres

OSiT was opened as a Management Company. Founded by brother and sister, Giles and Niki Fuchs, with the help of Sarah Singlehurst.

We took over the management of centres in Northampton and Cardiff

We took over the management of The Marlowes Business Centre in Hemel Hempstead for CBRE

We took over the management of Midlands House Business Centre in Aylesbury for CBRE

We procured, designed, refurbished  and opened our first London centre, Euston Tower, with private investors. The centre filled so quickly that we doubled its size in June 2011.

Forum Partners and OSiT opened LSO1 Ltd to buy buildings in Central London to refurbish and run as serviced offices.

We opened our first centre with Forum Partners at 46 New Broad Street, London, after a substantial refurbishment in the theme of ‘Monopoly’.

The second centre with Forum Partners was opened at 20 Little Britain, London. The centre underwent a full refurbishment programme with the theme of ‘British Authors’.

Sarah Singlehurst, founder alongside Giles and Niki Fuchs, was appointed Sales & Marketing Director of OSiT

We opened our third centre with Forum Partners at 2- 6 Boundary Row, London. The innovative theme here is ‘Alice in Wonderland’ and was full within two months of opening.

Giles Fuchs published a paper on ‘How to Value Serviced Offices’.

Julie Ward, owner of APlus Accountants Ltd was appointed Finance Director of OSiT.

Tracey Holloway , General Manager of OSiT Cardiff centre was appointed Director of OSiT Wales.

OSiT Mayfair, located at Brick Street, London was opulently refurbished and opened.

OSiT Monument located at 20 St Dunstans Hill was opened. It is the largest centre to undergo refurbishment with a nautical theme. It was also our first centre to house a rooftop cafe bar and serviced bedrooms.

Office Space Cleaning Ltd (OSC) was formed. It took over all cleaning contracts for OSiT to ensure high standards.

Simon Eastlake, former New Centre Opener, was appointed Development Director.

RDI REIT take over from RDI REIT and purchase 80% stake in LSO1&2

OSiT majority shareholder in the acquisition of the iconic, art deco Burgh Island Hotel and takes over management.

OSiT won the Family Business of the Year Award for the London and South East region.

OSiT uniquely designed, refurbished and opened OSiT Blackfriars located at 22 Tudor Street, London. The theme is ‘ The Home of Happiness’.

OSiT Blackfriars wins award in the ‘Office Design’ category at the prestigious UK Property Awards.

The lease on Euston Tower comes to an end and the whole Tower is closed to be sold or refurbished.

UK citizens advised to work from home. OSiT centres maintained and cleaned throughout pandemic. April 2020 OSiT announced 50% rental discount to all clients to give support to businesses.

OSiT Mayfair lease ends and closes its doors. Clients found new homes within the OSiT Group.

OSiT became a leading light in the industry by being one of the first Operators to introduce an ESG Policy.

Georgia Sandom, previously a General Manager, was appointed Operations Director.

OSiT buys out RDI REIT and become soul shareholders and owners of OSiT.

In recognition of OSiT’s hard work in ESG, we are awarded Planet Mark certification.

After surveying all staff, OSiT awarded The Times Best Place to Work Award.

Our first Customer Excellence Award and was marked OUTSTANDING. This is a year on year award.

Georgia Sandom, previously Operations Director, was announced as Managing Director for OSiT.

Julie Ward retired from role as Finance Director to concentrate on her core business, APlus Accountants.

Sue Kennedy announced as new Finance Director for OSiT

Simon Eastlake leaves OSiT and resigns from Development Director role to start his own business.

Office Space Facilities Management (OSFM) was founded to ensure high quality maintenance on all of our centres. Also to assist other companies in achieving the same.

OSiT made it to number 60 on the For Entrepreneurs By Entrepreneurs  (FEBE) Growth 100 List 2025.
