Management services will be available under established Office Space in Town brandor as a white label product for landlords

OSiT offers over 100 years of collective experience in the serviced office sector to property owners looking to enter the flexible workspace market

Office Space in Town (OSiT) has now launched its new flexible workspace management service for landlords looking to pivot their portfolio towards the growing flexible workspace sector following COVID-19.

OSiT’s management services will help property owners affected by the coronavirus pandemic and those looking to enter the growing flexible workspace market in order to make the most of their commercial real estate portfolio. Owning its buildings rather that operating on a leasehold model, OSiT brings a unique understanding of how to cultivate asset value through a flexible workspace offering. As one of the most respected operators in the sector, OSiT is now seeking to share this expertise with landlords looking to enter the market.

Landlords will be able to draw on OSiT’s expertise as one of the UK’s most experienced flexible workspace operators to build a product tailored to meet their needs anywhere in the UK. Founded in 2009 by Giles and Niki Fuchs, OSiT builds on the 40-year heritage of the Fuchs family in the serviced office sector, including extensive experience in providing management services across the UK, and remains at the cutting-edge of the flexible workspace market.

Collectively, OSiT’s senior management team has over 100 years of experience, and landlords will be able to access the company’s management services under either the OSiT brand or part of a high quality white label product. OSiT will additionally extend its suite of management services to include running existing flexible workspaces that may have previously underperformed.

Commercial property owners have been notably affected by the pandemic, with the average commercial lease length in the UK declining by 10 months in the period between February and June this year, according to property data group Re-Leased. However, the outlook for the flexible workspace sector, which had already grown 50% in the past five years, remains positive as businesses seek greater flexibility from their office space.

The launch of OSiT’s new management services follows the successful release of Adjust, OSiT’s new flexible workspace product for businesses looking to build a flexible working strategy following COVID-19, which allows businesses to book and pay for private office space for as little as one day per week.

Giles Fuchs, CEO of Office Space in Town commented: “For landlords looking to make the most of their commercial property portfolios in the wake of COVID-19, flexible workspace is the obvious solution, catering to businesses’ increasing desire for flexibility following the pandemic. We are excited to begin partnering with landlords who share our vision and who will be able to gain from our unique understanding of how flexible workspace and space as a service can enhance both value and returns from their own portfolio. With OSiT’s management services, those seeking to enter or enhance their operations in this sector can rest safe in the knowledge that they are being guided by one of the most successful and experience operators in the industry.”
