Staff retention can be a problem for companies of any size, but is particularly an issue for startups and SME’s. As mentioned in a previous blog, startups are likely to dismiss basic HR principles due to a lack of resources and/or time.

Every time that a company recruits it costs money. Costs are accumulated from advertising the open role, interview times, as well as the on-boarding and training processes once a successful applicant has joined the company.
