Meet the Manager

I came, by chance, into the serviced offices sector in 2003 and before I knew it ten years had passed. In March 2014, with my passion for this fast-paced industry still growing, I made the life-changing decision to leave my working world in Cambridge and joined the team at Office Space in Town in London at their Liverpool Street Centre. I can genuinely say I have not looked back for a minute, even with the commute!

My first challenge as General Manager was to oversee the introduction of the board game-inspired design we have at the Liverpool Street centre today. The centre had been open for just over a year and we worked with focus groups, design boards and customer feedback to successfully introduce the new theme.  The key to getting such an effective outcome was our commitment to not only delivering a ‘look and feel’ — but also achieving the practical and inspiring atmosphere that the businesses we support have come to expect. 

Now at the London Monument office, our flagship centre, my focus remains on nurturing a community culture for our clients which is service driven, balancing professionalism with the genuine warmth that we have developed. As a team, and a community, across Office Space in Town our daily objective is to continue to grow our centres as places where people love to come to work.

Internet Provision

The centre has two diverse tier one Ethernet lines coming into the building which gives us a robust failover service for both internet and telephony.

Our internet service is monitored on a millisecond basis to ensure that we are able to act quickly and with the knowledge to any interruptions to our services.

We use a software system that manages our infrastructure of Internet, networking, Wi-Fi and voice.  This software is in real time and gives us immediate information and enables us to react to our client’s needs in an instant.


At Office Space in Town, we have always tried to ensure that our buildings offer the very best possible connectivity but until now, there has been very little information available about the quality of internet

connectivity in office spaces. That's why here at our Monument centre, we have acheived we have achieved a Silver-level Wired Certification, which means that our building has superior levels of broadband internet connectivity and diversity with the building.

Cruise down into our boutique, dedicated meeting and conferencing floors and you will find a welcome range of meeting rooms. From the impressive, grand State Room, to the intimate and comfortable Buoys, we have space to suit all styles of business. These individual meeting spaces, each with a unique and inspiring design, are themed around the nautical adventures of a grand Sunseeker yacht.

  • The Knot is a twelve-person boardroom room, warm and welcoming with intricate knots tied in rope above the table.
  • The Saloon is an informal four-seater, with plush blue velvet seats around a small round table for that informal catch-up with clients.
  • The Hull is a ten-person boardroom style meeting room. You’ll feel like you’re in the hull of the ship, with the wooden walls and clean, white lights coming in from the roof.
  • The Keel is a luxuriously modern twelve-person boardroom. Looking up you will see the black reflective surface of the roof, with the Keel of a ship embedded in the light fixtures.
  • The informal Buoys is a four-seater relaxed meeting space, with two armchairs and a sofa. The feature buoys light fixtures add a special touch.
  • The grand State Room will make you feel as though you’re the Captain of the ship, steering your meeting to success. With portraits on the walls, plush carpets and wallpaper, this boardroom seats 20, with floor to ceiling windows.
  • The Cabin is an eight-person minimalist meeting room, with padded wall coverings and a roundtable for serious meetings.
  • The Anchors individually seat eight people, or we can open all three rooms to seat up to 80 people conference-style. This large room has anchor motifs across the walls, yet is kept bright and minimal with large floor to ceiling windows, allowing for plenty of natural daylight.
  • You will feel transported to the night in the middle of the ocean in The Stars room. This eight-person roundtable will allow you the tranquillity and peace of mind to wow your clients.
  • The clean, minimalist Sails room seats 6, with white sails draped across the ceiling. This serene escape will allow you to clear your mind and focus on what needs to be done.
  • The engine room is a four seated room. The mechanism in the table works to extend so it can transform into a 6-seater table.
